This guide shows how to use an independent player with TV8Live login details. TV8Live does not develop, distribute or support this software and is not affiliated with its developer: we do not use its logo and we do not offer support for the player itself. For access to the TV8Live service message us on WhatsApp; for player-specific problems contact the developer.
Before you start
Televizo is the easiest player to configure of all, which makes it a good first choice if you have never used this kind of service. You need an Android or Android TV device and your three TV8Live login details.
You need
- An Android or Android TV device with the Google Play Store
- Around 200 MB of free storage
- Your three login details from the activation email
You do not need
- {icon("cross")} Another IPTV subscription
- {icon("cross")} A paid app — players are free
No Android device yet? The Android guide explains whether you need a TV box and what to look for; if you want to try right now, use the online player.
Step-by-step
- 1
Open the Google Play Store
On the television or the phone, find the Store icon and open it. If you cannot reach the store with the remote, a USB mouse or wireless keyboard adapter usually makes an Android TV usable again.
Useful alternative: install the app from the Play Store on your phone with the same Google account you will use on the television.
- 2
Search for and install Televizo
Type the exact player name in the search bar and check the developer shown under the title before tapping Install. Installation takes a few seconds and a little storage.
If no result appears, the player is not available for your device: switch to Nanomid or the online player.

Check the name and the developer before installing. - 3
Launch the player and tap the login button
Open Televizo from your apps. The home screen shows categories and a login button at the bottom: tap it to reach the login form. The interface may be in English; that changes nothing, the fields to fill are the same.
- 4
Enter host, username and password
Fill in the three fields from your email. The host is tv8live.com. Type the username and password exactly as written, with no extra spaces at either end.
If the password field is masked, that is normal: type it correctly and use the eye icon to check.

Three fields: host, username, password. No registration required. - 5
Tap login and wait
On first login the player downloads the catalogue. The first load is the slowest because everything has to download: from thirty seconds to a minute depending on your connection. Do not close the app while it loads.
- 6
Browse the list and start watching
Once inside, channels are grouped by category, alongside the VOD sections. Tap a channel to start playback. Tap the star on a channel to pin it as a favourite.
Use the remote’s arrow keys or swipe the touchpad to change channel.
- 7
Enable autostart
To avoid opening the player every time: open the television settings, find the apps section, select Televizo and enable «autostart». On many televisions this is under Settings › Apps › [app name].
Most modern televisions also let you choose which apps run in the background; enabling Televizo there saves a few seconds.
If something goes wrong
Before reinstalling anything, work through this table. Problems are listed from most to least common, and the cause is almost always a typo or the connection rather than your account.
| Problem | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Not found in the Play Store | App unavailable for your device or Android version | Do not use external APKs. Switch to Nanomid or the online player. |
| Login rejected | Access details typed incorrectly | Re-copy host (tv8live.com), username and password from the email without extra spaces. |
| Channel list stays empty | First load interrupted | Close and restart the player. Check the connection by opening another page in the TV browser. |
| «Unable to decode stream» | Unsupported codec or missing permissions | Update the TV software and allow the player to access the local network. |
| Constant buffering | Slow connection or weak Wi-Fi | Move the television closer to the router, or use a TV box with Ethernet. |
| No audio | Audio output set to the wrong HDMI source | Select the correct output (HDMI ARC or optical) in the TV audio settings. |
| Remote will not scroll the list | TV does not pass navigation through | Connect a USB mouse or wireless keyboard to navigate. |
FAQ
What is Televizo and can I use it with TV8Live?
Televizo is a free, independent IPTV player built for Android and Android TV. It contains no channels: it shows the ones you provide through credentials. With your TV8Live details you paste three fields and the list appears. There is no connection whatsoever between TV8Live and Televizo.
Televizo is not in the Play Store — what do I do?
On some devices and Android versions the app is not published. In that case do not download APK files from third-party sites: they usually carry unofficial and outdated channels. Use a different player, such as Nanomid, or watch through the online player.
How do I make it start automatically at boot?
Open your device settings, find the apps section, select Televizo and enable «autostart» or «run at startup». The exact name varies by manufacturer; on many televisions it sits under Settings › Apps › Televizo.
Can I use Televizo on my Android phone too?
Yes. Configuration is identical: same host, same username, same password. Remember that every device open at the same time uses one of the connections included in your plan, listed on the pricing page.
Is Televizo safe?
Always use the version from the Google Play Store and check the developer. Do not install variants from external APK sources. If an app asks for unusual permissions or seems to want your access details in a suspicious way, close it: TV8Live will never ask for credentials outside the activation email.
Next step
If you do not have an active subscription yet, the 24-hour €1 trial gives you immediate access with nothing charged required. If you would rather install nothing, the TV8Live online player runs in your browser. For anything else, start with the FAQ.
